September 13. 4:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. 9.13.11--That's the Chatsworth Zip Code & we will be celebrating this once in a lifetime event at St. Stephen's Church Campus. Come be a part of our celebration featuring a Taste of Chatsworth (provided by the local restaurants), booths from Chatsworth businesses, musical acts from 4:30 to 8:30 PM, plus an aerial photo and a 50 year time capsule. September 13. 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Fall into Flavor with your favorite seasonal lattes from The Coffee Bean® for only $1.00* during our Fall Open House! Choose from our Pumpkin Latte or Cinnamon French Toast Latte.

September 14. Free movie at Santa Monica Place. Enjoy Classic Favorites under the Stars Wednesdays at 7pm on the Dining Deck, Level 3. Movies are shown in their original, unedited format. Upcoming Events

LAUNCH PAD is TCOTW’s new free after-school program offering academic tutoring, exciting field trips, motivational activities, and youth mentoring. We launch at 3:00pm on Tuesday, September 20, in the Multipurpose Room, West Campus. Come that day to register. Space is limited and registration is required.

We are actively recruiting volunteers to:

:: Become mentors to students
:: Help with homework and basic tutoring
:: Assist with activities, recreational games, crafts, etc.
:: Be a featured guest speaker

There is an orientation session for all volunteers on Monday, September 12 from 6-8pm in The King’s Chapel on the West Campus. Food and drink will be served.

September 24. Free Museum Day is coming on Sept. 24 and you can get 2 Free Tickets to the participating museum of your choice! Zimmer Children’s Museum is one of the featured museums. Looks like a neat place! http://www.smithsonianmag.com/museumday/ticket/

September 27. 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Free ice cream at participating Cold Stone Creamery locations. Gett a free 3-oz. Sprinkled with Wishes Creation Sundae. In exchange, donations will be accepted for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Sprinkled with Wishes Creation consists of sweet cream ice cream mixed with brownies, rainbow sprinkles, and fudge.
